Sold a bear call vertical on VLO So, a potential to make $0.80 x 25 contracts ie $2,000 on a cash layout of $10,500.Which is a potential max return of 19% on the trade if VLO remains below 125

SPY is down YTD around 13% excluding dividends. There has been no clear upside during the last 6 months, though we are now seeing some signs that various stocks might be bottoming out. We have remained out of the market. but see an opportunity to enter with some positions soon, especially in the Income portfolio.

SPY ended 2021 at 474.96 We are starting 2022 by investing in a new portfolio with $100,000 capital. Aim is to beat SPY performance by 5 basis points by year end.
